Luc Bellier — Modern & Contemporary Art — Paris

Luc Bellier is one of the most distinctive and discerning eyes in the international modern art market. His career has been built on major transactions and landmark Paris exhibitions devoted to Munch, Picasso and Otto Dix. Alongside his contributions to the Art Institute of Chicago and the Musée d’Orsay, he is distinguished by a major donation to the Centre Pompidou.

A descendant of Alphonse Bellier, he nonetheless forged his own path as a self-taught dealer, after a formative period in film alongside Jacques Tati. His contemporary collection reflects a singular eclecticism, bringing together major works by Anri Sala, Julie Mehretu and Kori Newkirk, Pope L., Richard Avedon, Vincent Desiderio and Wolfgang Tillmans.
